Raw denim

The raw denim (also called dry denim) from Candiani Italy, will develop a beautiful patina with wearing and washing - a salt 'n pepper graininess coupled with an ever so slight marbling effect. And where the denim is subjected to abrasion, a flatter structure will emerge with clear twill-lines - a combination of attributes that will produce the perfect pair of worn-in jeans.

As with all dry denim, we recommend at least 6 months of daily wear before the first wash. This is, of course, only a recommendation. Washing earlier and more frequently results in a more even fade without “heavy contrasts”, but make sure to either hand wash or use a gentle washing machine cycle. As long as you take care of your jeans, they will, in turn, reward you with an evolving patina that very well might render the best looking washed jeans you will ever have.

Raw denim fabric will affect the fit?

The Raw unwashed fabric will make the fit a little looser / longer cause after your first rinse wash at home your jeans will shrink down to correct size. Therefore do not worry about the little loose fit, you will be happy!

Size guide Women

Compare an item you own to our detailed size guide using our instruction in the Measurment guide. All measures are garment measures. Put the jeans flat on table (not on legs). But please note, when you compare an old jeans measures with our size guide it has to be newly washed otherwise your old jeans at home will most likely appear bigger than the real size. You will then most likely end up ordering a too big size.
